Graduated cum laude in Dentistry and dental prosthesis in 1996 at University of Rome “La Sapienza” with highest honours, presenting a thesis on “Dental Management of the HIV+ child”. Science and technology enthusiast, he is involved in branches of knowledge from human and social sciences to CAD Design, 3D printing, photography, agricultural techniques, sustainability and energy policies and UE related legislative procedures and frameworks. Passionate in DIY techniques (woodworking, soldering, painting, repairing) he is also an AM expert and enthusiast, 3D printing Maker and CAD designer (Autodesk Fusion 360) and former Member of the European Parliament (EP) in the 2014-2019 legislature, of the EP Industry, Research and Energy (and Telecommunication) committee (ITRE) and of the EP Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA). During his five years mandate as MEP, he presented 320 written parliamentary questions, participated actively to 31 reports and with 4290 amendments presented, he resulted the third more active in the EP and first in ITRE Committee. For Votewatch.eu, he has been also among the top 5 MEPs most influential on EU energy policies. He was the MEP rapporteur for the new regulation on energy labeling. He proposed several Pilot Projects financed by EP and inspired a study on 3D bioprinting for medical and enhancement purposes

3DiTALY offers solutions and services for SMEs, optimizing processes and speeding up production with the means and know-how of Industry 4.0. 3DiTALY was born in Rome in 2012 as the first professional 3d print store in Italy. Today 3DiTALY is an extensive digital manufacturing network with operational points throughout the country, offering to companies (both SMEs and multinationals as Yamaha) and individuals professional CAD modelling services, rapid prototyping, 3d scanning, sale of consumables for 3d printing, sale of 3d printers and new technologies (laser-cutters, 3d scanners etc.), post-technical assistance and training.

D.A.M.A. – Digital Arts and Manufacturing Academy is a digital training academy in Milan where the knowledge of the past merges with the technologies of the future and provides online training through videoconferencing courses and webinars. Classroom lectures and workshops. Courses on 3D modeling, 3D design, 3D printing and Digital Manufacturing.
